Yu Family
I spent last Saturday with my good friends in Eau Claire market on a family photo shoot. It was a brisk day but the walking kept us warm. I found some really cool cityscape backdrops that worked well with this modern family. I love the fact that they coordinated their winter jackets and sweaters. I had a fun time and the family looked great.

Jennie and Ray
Jennie and Raymond are expecting their first child in December and I had the pleasure of taking their pregnancy photos. The weather cooperated nicely considering the time of year in Calgary. The session was shot in the downtown area with no predetermined location, we drove around and picked spots that looked cool. It was an informal session and we had a good time. Jennie and Raymond looked great and I wish them both the best of luck!

Newborn – Nathan
Jon and Ada (see pregnancy photo here) are proud parents to a beautiful boy named Nathan. These newborn photos were taken when Nathan was just a week old. I was able to capture some special moments during our session that hopefully they can look back at with fond memories. I’m very happy for Jon and Ada, as they are very close friends of ours. We know they will make great parents and we look forward to sharing other milestones in their lives.

Ada’s Pregnancy Session
Ada is a good friend of ours who is expecting in a couple of months and I was honored to document this special period in her life. We took these shots at her house and I convinced Jon to take part as well. He did a great job even though he was more concerned with his bbq ribs :). I got in a variety of images that will bring back good memories of this time in their lives.

Jasra Family
Cool, friendly and fun loving is how I would describe the Jasra family. I spent the weekend shooting photos for this family as the parents came in from Kelowna. I got in some traditional and artistic shots, it was good balance of old and new style photography. I really enjoyed our session and wish them the best of luck.
This is one my favorite head shots. I like the reflection of the family in the aviator glasses and the sharpness adds texture to the image. Thanks for the cool look!

Kids at play
Laura met some other moms from Gymbree class while on maternity leave. The gang organized a BBQ in Bowness park and we stopped by. This was the first time I had the pleasure to meet them in person. It was an extremely nice day and we had a great time. I have to tell you, these kids were cute! I couldn’t resist taking pictures..they look so innocent!
