I had a wonderful time with Keri an Andrew. My sessions are all about having fun and we definitely reach that goal. They have a lovely black lab name Jet and we included him in our shots and I think it turned out great. I really enjoy shooting engagement sessions as I get to connect with my clients and build on our friendship. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in Aug out in Canmore…stay tuned!
I finally met Karren and Rob face to face for the very first time after corresponding through e-mail over the winter months. I must say.. I really dig this couple. We had a great evening of shooting and the connection between these two were amazing.
Spring is a special time of year and I’m glad we took advantage of the full bloom even though we had to schedule it 2 times due to heavy rain. I can’t wait to shoot their wedding. Come back soon and check out their special day!

The extended Oelke family have travelled from Kamploops and Edmonton to celebrate Grandma Oelke’s special birthday in Calgary. This was a special photoshoot as there were multi-generations of Oelke’s and they were just the most friendly family. I loved the diversity and tried my best to provide contemporary shots that would please the range of family members. It was fun day and I will have great memories of this shoot.
I had a great time shooting urban style engagements of this beautiful couple, Tyania and Shaun. These two are super cool and we kept the session modern and hip. Shaun is a professional stunt rider and I wanted to create an edgy feel to the session to suite their lifestyle. I can’t wait to shoot their upcoming wedding.
I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the beautiful Afaganis family in early March. We had planned this day for many months as the little one just turned one. I thought it was very thoughful for mom to organize a shoot for this special occasion. I had a fun afternoon and I can tell you that I witnessed a very loving and nurturing family. Personally I was touched by the joy and care these kids have in their lives.
Mid way through the shoot, mom put the kids in cute tutus. This is when their spirits took off and what I love about children photography..it’s challenging at times but is the most rewarding. These are the moments that inspire and keep photography exciting for me.
I spent a late afternoon in downtown Calgary with these fine ladies. They came together from different parts of Alberta to particiapte in this photo shoot. These girls were so energetic and fun. I’m so glad we stuck around until the late evening. The images have a urban chic feel too them and hopefully they cherish these in their albums.
I had the pleasure of taking this little guy’s portrait just in time for Christmas. His natural expression is priceless. I love it when kids be themselves…natural and innocent. I hope mom decides to hang up one of these portraits.
