I’m finally getting around to updating my blog with some of the weddings that occurred in the summer. Tyania and Shaun had a beautiful wedding with one of the most exciting reception party! Tyania looked gorgeous with her unique bouque..very modern and chic. I was honoured to be part of their special day and I’m glad to have had met this couple. Congrats and I wish the both of you the best of luck!
The summer was crazy with all of my wedding events but I manage to squeeze in some family photo sessions. I shot the Leonard’s on one of the hottest days in full daylight. We melted out there but still managed to have a lot fun! I have known members of this family for a couple of years and it was nice to meet the rest of them. A large canvas wrap is in order and I can’t wait to see on their wall!
Karren and Rob’s wedding day was perfect! The day went smoothly and on top of that it was one of the nicest days in Calgary! Karren looked stunning in her wedding dress. I couldn’t believe how clean it stayed after trekking through a dirt road, railroad tracks and a grassy field. This was a fun wedding and I’m so please to have met such a nice couple.
What more can I ask for, an awesome couple combined with a spectacular shooting location! Allison and Carey wanted something less urban so we decided to explorer the drive out to Elbow Falls. This is definitely a gem close to Calgary. I had so much fun with this couple! Their wedding will have a completely different look as it will take place in the downtown core..Stay tuned!
Wedding traditions vary across cultures and each one is individual and unique. I have attended many different weddings but have not had a chance to shoot an Indian wedding. I had my opportunity when Monica and George asked me to be their photographer. The wedding did not disappoint! the colors, outfits and the outdoor setting was beautiful. This was a unique wedding as it combined some Western elements..it was a great experience and Monica looked stunning in her outfits.
Having a planned shooting location is aways a photographers best practice but sometimes exploring and letting the moment unfold can produce some beautiful images. My original location with Camille and Mario was taken over by a music festival so we went to a nearby community were it was a bit more discrete and a place where they can be comfortable. They look beautiful and I can’t wait to be part of their wedding.
The weather called for severe thunder showers but we were lucky enough to avoid it and even a had small break at sunset. I was fortuante to have met Aprille and Jhordah, they are such a nice couple. Their chemistry was amazing and it really shows in the photos. I had a great evening and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in the fall.
Something has to be said about blue skys, open fields and a winding river ..it’s simply breathtaking. I had the pleasure of taking family photos at the Highwood river ranch and couldn’t ask for a better shooting location as a photographer. I had a great time with this family, they were friendly and welcome me with open arms. This is one experience that I will never forget. Enjoy this set and come back to it in the winter time…it will be an instant uplift for the winter blues.
I can’t believe we are in the middle of summer already. The Hong family came all the way to Calgary from Vancouver and had a photoshoot with me at a nearby field. This family was such a joy to work with. I really love my job!

I love shooting engagement sessions late in the evening as the warmth and flare really add something special to the image. Luckly for me, Monia and George didn’t mind the late start and we caught the golden hour. I really enjoyed my time with this couple and we really connected! I will be shooting their Christian/Hindu wedding in the next week and I’m really looking forward to it!
